Photo to test

Turn photos of a question paper into an online test

No PDF, just the printed paper? Take a photo of each page with your phone. Paper2Test reads the questions, options, maths and diagrams from the images and turns them into an online test you can take or share in minutes.

How it works

1

Click the pages

A clear photo of each page, in good light, held straight. JPG and PNG work.

2

Let the AI read them

Each page is read in parallel - usually under a minute for a normal paper. Check the questions on the review screen.

3

Take or share the test

Set the time and marking, then start it or share a link, code or QR.

photo_cameraPhone photos workBooklets, coaching sheets and book pages - photographed, not scanned.
functionsMaths and diagramsFormulas, fractions, figures and charts are kept so the question still makes sense.
translateHindi and regional languagesHindi, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati and bilingual pages are read too.

Tips for clear photos

Photograph one page at a time, flat on a table, with the whole page inside the frame and no shadow across the text. Avoid zooming in; move the phone closer instead.

If a page comes out wrong, upload just that page again - the rest stays as it is.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make a test from photos instead of a PDF?

Yes. Upload photos of each page (JPG or PNG) and they are read with AI, including Hindi text, maths and diagrams.

How long does it take?

Pages are read in parallel, so a normal paper is usually ready in about a minute.

What if a photo is blurry?

Re-upload that page, or fix the question by hand on the review screen.

Is it free?

Your first paper is free; students always take tests free.
