Which PDFs work?

Typed (text) PDFs are read instantly and free. Scanned PDFs and photos are read by AI, page by page, in about a minute for a normal paper. Blurry or cut-off pages can be re-uploaded one at a time.

Coaching notes, previous year papers (PYQs), sample papers and chapter tests all work. You can also paste questions as text, or tell the AI to skip parts ("only questions 1-50", "skip the Hindi part").

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert a scanned question paper, not just a typed PDF?

Yes. Scanned PDFs and phone photos are read with AI, including Hindi text, maths and diagrams. Typed PDFs are converted without AI and cost nothing extra.

Do students need to install an app or sign up?

No app is needed. Students open the link or type the code at paper2test.app and sign in free with Google, so their result and rank are saved. The Android app is optional.

What if the PDF has no answer key?

Share the test anyway. Add the key later on the paper page and every submitted attempt is scored again automatically.

How much does it cost?

Your first paper is free. After that, paper packs start at Rs 19 per paper, and teachers and coaching institutes can take a monthly plan.
